Caylis' Song

A shadow lurking in the water's gloom,
Where hope is lost and sunlight dies,
A world of visions of impending doom,
Her mournful song she forever cries:


"Woe to those who did me wrong,
And woe to the kin I once did love,
Cursed waters, heed my song,
And bring forth destruction from the land above!


"Though their betrayal hath caused me pain,
Soon they shall receive their due,
When all they build be broke in twain,
That they should feel my sorrow too."


"Tears of my sadness and despair,
Send forth my curse to traitorous foes,
From my wrath let none be spared,
To exact my vengeance for my woes."


Her song of sorrow still remains,
Amidst the deafening ocean's roar
And Caylis, no more to be found,
Lost in water's gloom forevermore.
